A 30-year-old OnlyFans model and former prison officer, Linda De Sousa Abreu, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison after engaging in multiple sexual encounters with an inmate at HMP Wandsworth. The incidents were partially recorded on an unauthorized mobile phone and her body-worn camera, sparking widespread attention when the footage went viral online.
Abreu, from Fulham, was filmed in her prison uniform having sex with Linton Weirich, a convicted burglar. The recording, made by another prisoner on an unauthorized device, showed the inmate providing a running commentary, including remarks such as, “Guys, we made history” and “This is how we live at Wandsworth bruv.” The video lasts approximately four and a half minutes.
Judge Martin Edmunds KC, presiding at Isleworth Crown Court, described her actions as "repeated behavior" rather than isolated incidents. Abreu admitted to three separate encounters with Weirich, including performing oral sex and engaging in intercourse on the same day. One of these episodes was inadvertently recorded on her body-worn camera.
The judge emphasized the severe repercussions of her misconduct, highlighting the damage caused to the reputation of female prison officers. “Your conduct has undone years of efforts to build respect for female staff in a male-dominated environment,” said HMP Wandsworth Governor Andrew Davy in a statement read to the court.
Abreu’s defense, led by Rajiv Menon KC, cited a psychiatric report that diagnosed her with a severe personality disorder and ADHD, which contributed to impulsive and reckless behavior. Menon argued that her mental health issues should mitigate her culpability.
Despite expressing remorse and close to tears during sentencing, Judge Edmunds imposed a 15-month sentence, half of which will be served in custody, with the remainder on license. Her sentence was reduced by 95 days to account for time spent under a qualifying curfew.
The case has drawn significant public attention due to Abreu’s dual career as an OnlyFans model and her previous appearance on a Channel 4 series about swinging.
